MIC-1000 Gas Alarm Controller

Centralized Monitoring for Industrial Gas Detection Systems

Wall-mounted multi-channel gas alarm controller

System Capability  Supports 4-20 mA and RS485 detector networks, multi-level alarms, relay control, data logging, and optional wired or wireless remote communication.
Product Overview

The MIC-1000 is designed for centralized monitoring and alarm management in fixed gas detection systems. It receives signals from gas detectors and other industrial transmitters, displays real-time measurements, activates audible and visual alarms, controls relay outputs, and records operating data for traceable system management.

  • Standard 8-channel 4-20 mA input configuration
  • RS485 network support for up to 255 addressable nodes
  • Three-level audible and visual alarms with independent channel setpoints
  • MODBUS-RTU communication and optional Ethernet, fiber, 4G, 5G, or LoRa modules

  • Simultaneous 4-20 mA and RS485 inputs are supported in applicable configurations.
  • Modular design supports controller cascading and expansion of input and output channels.
  • Channel management functions include channel enable or disable and channel parameter editing.
Display and Data Management
  • Three display modes: five-channel overview, large-font single-channel cycling, and real-time trend curves.
  • Automatic or manual channel cycling with optional maximum value, minimum value, and gas-name display.
  • Standard storage capacity of 100,000 records with configurable logging intervals.
  • Records time, concentration, and alarm information; supports real-time logging or alarm-only logging.
  • SD card storage with local record viewing, filtered review, and deletion.
  • PC software supports 24-hour monitoring, automatic storage, alarm notification, maximum, minimum, and average values, historical and real-time trends, export, and printing.
Alarm and Control
  • Multi-level alarm setpoints can be enabled or disabled independently.
  • Different alarm outputs can use different tones, volumes, and frequencies.
  • Alarm types include concentration alarms and fault alarms; modes include low, high, and range alarms.
  • Programmable relay outputs support fans, solenoid valves, and other interlocked equipment.
  • Remote zero calibration, span calibration, factory reset, and alarm setting are supported.
Remote Communication and Maintenance
  • Wired upload of real-time field data, with optional Ethernet or wireless transmission.
  • Optional wireless ranges include 2 km, 5 km, or unrestricted-distance cellular and Internet communication.
  • Data can be sent to a control room, monitoring center, or other connected systems through LAN, Internet, or wireless networks.
